Tally Production Systems, an integrated oilfield services company, reached out to Alconost to showcase their new clever and simple design for plunger lift production technology, called the Helix Plunger.
They also wanted to show it in action.
The main challenge and initial assets
The main challenge for us as a video production company was to understand what a plunger actually is, how it works, and how to show it in action accurately.
Apart from studying similar products and videos from our client's competitors, we referred to drawings provided by the client and carefully watched a live video they recorded for us using a smartphone camera. It really helped us to understand and delve deep into the topic!

The process
To ensure that we were on the right track with the delivery of the technical information, we provided the client with the textual description of the planned animated actions. It was a 'bearing structure' of the script.
Once the script was approved, we developed a detailed storyboard for the video.
